The Duchess of Cambridge sparkled tonight as she and Prince William joined a dapper Daniel Craig for the world premiere of No Time To Die at the Royal Albert Hall. William and Kate, who was wearing a plunging custom Jenny Packham sequin gown, put on an affectionate display and appeared excited to be celebrating one of the biggest nights in film this year. The duchess stopped to speak to 007 star Craig before the screening and he said to her: 'You look jolly lovely!'. Craig, who is bowing out as Bond, looked as dapper as ever in a dark pink suede jacket as led the star-studded arrivals. The actor, 53, oozed sophistication ahead of his final outing as James Bond as he joined glamorous co-stars Lashana Lynch and Lea Seydoux (left inset) at the swanky event. While Lashana looked effortlessly glamorous in an elaborate yellow gown, Lea dazzled in a shimmering silver number as they joined leading man Daniel on the red carpet. Kate and William were joined by Charles and Camilla (right inset).

JPMorgan Chase has begun preparing for the possibility of the United States hitting its debt limit, CEO Jamie Dimon told Reuters on Tuesday, adding he nevertheless expected policymakers to find a solution to avoid that 'potentially catastrophic' event. With federal funding due to expire on Thursday and a potential debt default by October 18, Democrats who narrowly control the Senate and House are racing to head off fiscal disaster while also passing President Joe Biden's ambitious $3.5 billion spending package. JPMorgan, the country's largest bank, has begun scenario-planning for how a potential U.S. credit default would affect the repo and money markets, client contracts, its capital ratios, and how ratings agencies would react, Dimon said in an interview. 'This is like the third time we've had to do this, it is a potentially catastrophic event,' he said, referring to prior Congressional deadlocks over federal debt limits.  'Every single time this comes up, it gets fixed, but we should never even get this close. I just think this whole thing is mistaken and one day we should just have a bipartisan bill and get rid of the debt ceiling. It's all politics,' he added. Congressional Democrats are scrambling to find a way to raise the government's $28.4-trillion borrowing cap before the Treasury Department runs out of ways to service the nation's debt.

Psaki REFUSES to say whether Biden ignored and lied about Pentagon advice to keep 2K troops in Afghanistan and instead says he was given a 'range of options'

White House press secretary Jen Psaki declined to say whether any military official advised President Biden that some 2,500 troops should be left in Afghanistan in a briefing Tuesday. She said the president was presented with a 'range of options,' but 'ultimately,  regardless of the advice, it's his decision.' 'He's the commander in chief. He's the president. He makes decisions about that what's in the national interest, and he believed we should end the war.' Both Joint Chiefs of Staff chairman Mark Milley and head of US Central Command Frank McKenzie said that they had voiced an opinion to keep a small number of troops in Afghanistan to stave off Taliban control.

'Biden lied to America': GOP senators sensationally call out the President after Gens. Milley and McKenzie say they DID advise him to keep 2,500 troops in Afghanistan - weeks after he said they didn't

Republicans accused President Biden of lying to the American people after senators heard on Tuesday that the commander-in-chief was told his senior generals believed 2500 U.S. troops should stay in Afghanistan to prevent a Taliban takeover. Testimony provided by the country's defense secretary and two senior generals contradicted Biden's claims he was never warned by military advisers that bringing home American soldiers risked the collapse of a fragile government in Kabul. The result was a slew of furious accusations that Biden ignored advice and then lied to the country. Republican Senator Josh Hawley said: 'Here's what I've learned so far: Number one, the president of the United States lied to the American people about the advice that you gave to him, about the military judgement that you provided for him.

Exclusive DailyMail.com photos offer the first look inside the secluded waterfront campsite where Dog believes Laundrie is hiding. ESPN anchor Sage Steele slams Disney's 'sick' and 'scary' vaccine mandate for all staff at the network and says she got the shot because the alternative was being FIRED

The Walt Disney Company announced July 30 that all its salaried and non-union hourly US employees must be fully vaccinated by September 30. Putin brought 'attractive' translator to distract Trump during G20 meeting where US president only 'pretended to act tough for the cameras,' former WH Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham claims in new book

Russian President Vladimir Putin brought an 'attractive' translator with him to distract former President Donald Trump at their 2019 meeting - and Trump told Putin he would act tough in front of the cameras and then play nice privately, former White House official Stephanie Grisham reveals in her forthcoming tell-all. 'OK, I'm going to act a little tougher with you for a few minutes. But it's for the cameras, and after they leave, we'll talk. You understand,' Trump had told Putin when they met in June 2019 in Japan at the G20, Grisham recounted. 'I know that I was very skeptical about it all, but after doing my research and things of that nature, I felt like it was best suited for not only me, but for my family and my friends,' the 36-year-old said. He stopped short of endorsing the shots, calling them a matter of 'choice' and saying it's 'not [his] job' to promote them. In May, former Lakers guard Dennis Schroder told a German publication that he and James were the only unvaccinated Lakers. That same month, the NBA decided not to suspend him after he attended an outdoor promotional event for a tequila brand.

Four out of 39 miners are still trapped one mile underground after a scoop bucket that brings them to the surface detached and blocked a Canadian mine shaft early Sunday morning. The trapped workers in Vale's Totten mine in Sudbury, Ontario, went to refuge stations - as part of protocol - where there is food and water and the ability to contact loved ones, the company Vale said in a statement on Monday. One of the first miners out told CTV News that he was higher up than others so his trek up the ladder to safety was shorter. The miner, who wasn't named, said he was at the 1,850-foot level when he began to climb and it took him about two hours and 50 minutes, with breaks about every 40 feet and take a breather on one of the landing areas. 'It's a trek. It's hard on the arms,' he told CTV News. 'It wasn't like a cave-in or anything like that. No buddy was in harm's way. It was just long, but we stayed positive. 'We cracked jokes and stuff like that. We have a telephone so we can contact our loved ones so it made it a lot easier.'

Sexism row in Italy after former PM Conte unveils 'offensive and humiliating' bronze statue of scantily clad woman in a transparent dress!

A sexism row has erupted in Italy after former Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte unveiled an 'offensive and humiliating' bronze statue of a scantily clad woman to honour a 19th century poem. The statue, of a woman in a transparent dress, was revealed on Saturday in Sapri, southern Italy. It apparently honours La Spigolatrice di Sapri (The Gleaner of Sapri), a poem written by Luigi Mercantini in 1858 about an ill-fated invasion of the Kingdom of Naples. The poem is written from the point of view of a woman working in the fields in Sapri who catches sight of the approaching boat of Carlo Pisacane and his 300 men and narrates their failed attack on Naples. But the statue, by Emanuele Stifano, has been branded 'offensive and humiliating' in an outcry online - and a group of female politicians have called for it to be ripped down.
